The banners can be added as a code e. g. Google AdSense or as an image.

1. Go to Admin Area > Plugins > Installed Plugins.¹⁾

2. Find the Advertisement plugin - move mouse cursor over it, and click the Settings button.

3. You will be directed to the Advertisement plugin management page.

4. Here you will see two tabs: Manage banners and Banner placement

5. You should create a new banner template by clicking the Add Banner button:

• Enter the name of your ad template into Label field
• Insert the advertisement code into the Code field

To add a banner image, upload the image to server public_html/banners directory via FTP.

Open your banners directory in your browser, e. g. http://[your_site_URL]/banners

Copy the link to the banner appeared in the browser and paste the link to the following banner code:

Another option is upload the image to Admin area > Appearance > Edit theme > Graphics.

Click the Browse button, choose an image from your computer.

Click the Upload button.

Copy the path to your image from the URL field.

• Click the Add button.

Here are the maximum dimensions of the horizontal and vertical components:

The width of the horizontal banner shouldn't exceed 780px.

The height of the vertical banner shouldn't exceed 160px.

We recommend adding the horizontal banners to the bottom, top positions. We recommend adding the vertical banners to the sidebar position.

6. Then go to the Banner placement section and choose position for the ad on your site pages.

• Please assign ads to appropriate places and pages field - you can choose a certain page to display the ad banner, or simply leave the Global value, which will show your ad on every page.

• To add the banner to the desired position, click the link 0 banner(s). When the popup window appears, you will be able to choose your banner from the list of available ads.

The banners will appear on the site pages in the positions selected in Admin area.
