How to manage Photo plugin?
Admin side
Go to Admin Area > Plugins > Installed Plugins.49)
Find the Photo plugin - move mouse cursor over it, and click the Settings button.
You will be directed to the Photo plugin management page.
Here you will see two tabs: General and View settings
The General tab consists of the following configurations:
- Maximum file size - set the allowed to the photo uploaded by user.
- Maximum number of photos per album - set the number of photos in each album.
- Maximum number of photos for user - set the number of photos a user can upload.
- Allow users download photos - check the box if the Download icon should appear on the photo.
- Show and store full-size photos - check the box if the full-size photos should show up on the site and store on the server.
- Only show photos of users matching my “Looking for” setting - check the box if you want user can see the photos of the desired gender only.
The View settings tab consists of the Photo list, Album list, Photo view sections devided in two modes:
- Classic style (left column);
- Pinterest style (right column).
1. Photo list
In the Classic style each photo are square.
The additional information on the photo 50) shows up on hover.
In the Pinterest style each photo has fixed width and random height depending on the photo's proportion.
The information on the photo 51) is placed below each photo.
2. Album list
In the Classic style the album name and number of photos show up on the photo
In the Pinterest style the album name and number of photos are place below each album cover image.
3. Photo view
In the Classic style the photo is located on the left, all additional information and comments area are on the right.
In the Pinterest style all information on the photo and comments area show below the photo.
User side
Upload Photo
To upload a photo, click Photo in the top menu.
1. Click the Upload photos or Create Album button.
2. Select photos.
| Note: You can either drag & drop photos from the opened folder on your Desktop or select them by clickig Drag&Drop photos here or click to browse. |
3. Add the photo description
You can add hashtags52) to the photo description. The hashtags will help your users to search53) a photo.

4. Choose the existing album or create a new one and click Submit.
Edit photo/album
Go to My Photos page to edit your photo or album.
1. Click the photo in the photos list
2. Move mouse over the context action icon appeared and click Edit
You can edit the photo description or move this photo to another album.
| Note: Admin can edit/delete any photos on the site. |
3. Click the Albums tab on the My Photos page
4. Move mouse cursor over the album cover image and click Edit Album appeared on the context icon hover.
5. Here you can:
- change the album description
- change the album cover image
- delete several photos at once
- move several photos to another album
- delete album
View photo
Go to Photo page to browse the photos.
Here are three photos lists: Latest, Top Rated, Most Discussed
If you want to comment, rate, flag, or view fullsize photo, click the photo.
If you want to search photos by tags, enter the hashtag into the search input at the top right corner of the page.
If you want to download the photo, hover the mouse pointer to the top right corner and click the Download.
