Software Installation manual

Before installation, please make sure that your server completely meets our server requirements: http://www.skadate.com/hosting.php

Go to your Client Area https://hello.skadate.com/clientarea.php
And download Skadate software

3. Upload it to your hosting account root folder (for ex.: /public_html/, /httpdocs/,etc.) via FTP

4.1. Go to Cpanel > File Manager and Extract the archive

4.2. If you don't have Cpanel installed for your hosting server, login to your server account via SSH. Go to the folder containing the package archive using a cd command.

Use the following command to unpack the archive: unzip package-name.zip

5. Go to Cpanel and create a new MySQL database.

6. Create a database user.

7. Add the user to the database.

8. Give all privileges to the user.

9. Type http://[your_site_URL]/install in your browser.

Enter you license key.

Enter your site information.

Enter your Database access details.

Copy and paste the code replacing the existing one in ow_includes/config.php file.

Note: Don't forget to set up a cron job.

Remove ow_install/ folder, skadate-11.4.10800.zip file and refresh the page

The installation process has been successfully completed.
