How to change the name servers for the domain?

To change the name servers, login to your registrar1) account, for example, Godaddy.

Find the Domains section.

Click Manage.

You will be directed to the My Domain page.

Click the Edit (wheel) icon above the domain you want to change the name servers for.

Click Manages DNS

The system will direct you to the DNS Zone File page.

Click the Add record link to add the name server.

The Add Zone Record window will pop up.

Choose NS (Namerserver) value in the Record type menu.

Fill the following fields in:

Host: enter your domain name;

Points to: enter the name servers.

On SkaDate server the name server look this way:

ns1.skadate.net

ns2.skadate.net

If your site is hosts on some other server, you can find the name server in the you can find them in a confirmation email from your hosting company or contact your host team support for assistance with linking your domain to their server.

Click the Add another button to add the second name server, then click Finish.

Click the Save changes link to apply your changes.

As soon as you save changes, the success message will show.

The new name server will be listed at the bottom of the DNS Zone File page.
